Acting for film
Daily performance of scenes from film and television scripts, followed by frank, effective critique while watching your performance on film. Six days of workshop and acting practice recorded on digital film and available for purchase. Detailed analysis of your effect on screen, basic business etiquette and protocol and clear, effective fundamental principals of acting for film.

Award winning actress, Lynne Cormack, currently the film teacher at the National Theatre School of Canada leads this intense, useful, encouraging week.

 

Set a goal with the faculty and make a plan to refresh and renew your creativity and energy in acting.

 

Evening events and special guests will be added to this schedule as they become available. Theatre History and Practice (Young Conservatory, daily, 12 noon) available for auditing as schedule permits. Daily dance and yoga warm up (Young Conservatory, daily, 9 am) is also available.

 

Special Guests in the recent past have included Megan Follows, Tom McCamus, Elaine Campbell, Sally Bliss, Anne Allen, Kent Stetson, David French and Robyne Baruchel. A list of this summers guest speakers will be posted as they are available.
